10 Things 'Must' Happened During Elementary/Primary School Moment

You know, there are 10 things that must happened during elementary/ primary school. That's the nature of growing up and the nature of learning. Or else, a piece of childhood is always incomplete.

1. FRIENDS

The first thing you know. There weren't many of them in truth but the
real diamond will shine during a bad time. You know what I mean.

2. ENEMY;

You'll know when you see one, during a bad time.
That's the truth behind flowers and candies and
cheers.

3. PUNISHMENT;

The hell of a way to create memories. Also the best way to
shape humanity and attitude.

4. PRAISE;

For those in favors. Exclusively given, which include haters and supporters.

5. SELF ESTEEM;

Low, middle or high. That's the stuff. Going down is way more easy
than going up. And to get up on top, good marks
are needed, or pretending if necessary.

6. BULLIES;

The tradition of all school times, in every centuries of
human civilization. No one knows where it
leads. But it shows a lot of ways to summon
the confidence or strength.

7. HOMEWORK;

The added torture and responsibilities of physical and
mental. That's what school is all about.

8. SCAR

Well, no pain no fun.

9. IDLE

It begins every school-morning (especially Monday), during
class time, during learning process and everything that required
 intelligence, thinking or work.

The last item you truly enjoy and missed the most--
the innocence of childhood and memories.

p/s: I read new rules of education recently. Students aren't allowed any kind of disciplines, punishments or strict teachings. I think it smells awful and odd. Children who grew up in the utmost security, safety yet lack of discipline, wealth and too much pampering- they'll be very fragile, unready and complicated person in the future.

Trust me. Nothing went well without disciplines.

Doodle, doodle, doodle

Mika doodle competition Part 3  was officially closed yesterday. It was really fun. I met I saw I felt all kinds of arts, gives me more inspiration to doodle with different ways. Really, they are so many talented doodle artists out there. If only the convention of doodles or something like that exist, it would be great.

Let's check out some art I made up during the competition. I did not know what was exactly on my mind...*giggles

#Rain

#The Origin of Love

#Happy Ending (Songbook)

#Kids
I didn't email this art to Mika team.
I wonder why..

Hear ye, singers! Can u make this kind of competition so doodle artists feel satisfied and happy? Thanks Mika you made this happened :-D

Stamps: The Little Ambassador

Stamps, that was my earliest entry (in 2011) but the images were bad. Generally I made 2 entries about my collections (Singapore and Sarawak) and I'm not going to tell you about history stuff, again. According to S. Forty, the author of Stamps Of The World book, 'there has been a sharp decline in writing, replaced by the telephone, Internet and email...'

But for me, stamps are the little ambassador to the country. Internet, phone and email is good, but I loved those tiny-and-colourful papers. It fills with nostalgia. ^^

(1) Japan: My beautiful stamp from Japan, with extra 'Osaka' mark and few words I don't understand. I'm looking for more Japanese stamps. Donation, please...

(2) Indonesia: A greeting stamp from Indonesia (2001). Although Indonesia is our closest neighbour, it's still hard for me to get more Indonesia stamps.

(3) Australia: The little 'friend' from Aussie says about 'Papua New Guinea Independece 1975.'

(4) Espana: The-only-one. My little 'friend' from Spain. Something about 'Ano Polar Internacional.'

(5) New Zealand: Actually I have two NZ's stamps- Rata and Karaka. I like this one, it looks old and classy.

(6) Nepal's stamp. The only Nepal stamp, the coronation in 1975. It's hard to get another one.

(7) Philippine: The little ambassador from Philippine, the historical event for Ferdinand E. Marcos in 1965. I also collect the currency, 100 peso with a buffalo image. So beautiful.

(8) India: One among 8 in my collections- a leopard cat. My former employer, the Indian-Muslim textile merchant gave it to me since he didn't know what to do with those Indian stamps. He has relatives over there.

(9) Netherland: I have 5, or 6 stamps from Netherland. Donated, to be truth. But I really like this one. The combination of a portrait and an artwork.

(10) Singapore: One of my collections. I already made the entry about my Singapore stamps. Don't forget to check it out.

(11) Brunei: My first Brunei stamp- the 'Brunei Beauty'. I intend to make the entry about Brunei's stamps next month. Hopefully I don't forget the list.

(12) UK: I don't which part, UK is big. But one thing for sure, the Queen's symbol is obvious. And I'm happy because I have more.

(13) Hong Kong: The Bulbul bird stamp from HK. Given by somebody I didn't remember.

Next, I'm seeking stamps from other places. I need more.

Resepi Dumpling Express

#Takde bende nk pos jd aku wat entri ni..hehe, sekian~
yang ni guna kiub
tomyam Maggi

Dua minggu lepas selera makan aku berubah (sebelum ditimpa sakit gusi sbb gigi nak tumbuh). Kat CH707 dan CH703 asek promot Chinese dumpling sempena CNY. Jadi aku teringin nak makan. Tapi obviously aku xkan klua g beli. Jadi aku buat sendiri iaitu:

Kulit dumpling

1. Amek tepung, marjerin/mentega dan air.
2. Campurkan ketiga-tiganya. Tapi jangan banyak sangat air. Nanti lembik sangat.
3. Gaulkan, uli dan hempuk guna penumbuk sampai jadi doh.
4. Pastu, biarkan kat tepi.

Isi dumplinng
yang ni guna perencah
Maggi kari

Terpulang ka ikut selera dan kemampuan. Kalu nak mewah guna la minced meat, seafood, abalone...bla3. Nak murah, guna la telur ayam- egg scramble yang dicampur dengan minced onion, lada, garam, cendawan etc...

Cara2 nak buat

1. Kemudian, masukkan isi dumpling dalam kulit dumpling, buat macam bunjut. Pastu gelek-gelek guna tapak tangan sampai jadi cam bola.
2. Pastu masukkan dalam air mendidih, masukkan perencah (apa-apapun boleh- nak murah aku guna Maggi kari). Jangan lupa masukkan sikit gula sbb perencah tu masin.
3. Bila dumpling dah cantek masak, masukkan veggies seperti kobis, bunga kobis, brokoli, cendawan butang, and dada ayam yang dipotong kecik2/udang/sotong.
4. Biar gravy mendidih sekejap- 30 saat. Seterusnya, siap dihidangkan.

Senang kan? Dengan perencah Maggi, sebab tu la jadi express. Boleh guna kiub tomyam/ayam atau perencah mee sup ayam/asam laksa Maggi kalu nak kelainan.

Tips
