Psy with Gangnam Style released this song in 2012 while the Hollywood movie 'Son of the Mask' had released in 2005 (as far as I can remember) but one thing I can assure is their horsey dance style and cowboy sensation.
p/s: but surprisingly, this horsey dance style turned out to be soooo~ famous in 2012...^^
